The Holiday Apartments are at just 3 km from the city of Cascia,
plunged in the green valleys of Valnerina. The area was named in honour
of the river Nera, whose waters have shaped the landscape. Valnerina is
rich in sanctuaries, where the inhabitants of this area use to go in pilgrimage
during the year. The city of Cascia, together with Assisi, is one of the
most important religious and artistic centres in Umbria. Gastronomy is another
important characteristic of this area and the cooking is made with simple
and tasty products: meets, cheeses made from local mountain farms, cold
meets and salami from an ancient artisan traditions, black truffles, honey,
mushrooms, salmon trout and legumes.
There are 5 apartments, where you can live an holiday in the green hills
of Umbria, enjoying the natural beauties of this place. They are furnished
in a warm and functional way and plunged in a suggestive natural contest
made of forests, clean air and quietness. Every apartment has equipped kitchen
with plates and cooking pans, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linen which
are changed weekly. There’s a laundry and a barbecue area available for
all customers.
The holiday house is at 30 minutes (by car) from Marmore waterfalls, one
of the best natural scenario in Umbria and at just 10 minutes from Norcia,
city famous for cold meets and salami, cheeses and black truffles.
MELOGRANO (4/6 persons): obtained from the old stable, today its a three room apartment, with two double rooms and bathroom with shower. In the wide living room there is a kitchenette, a fireplace made with the famous ceramics of Deruta. Outside there is a garden with tables, chairs and sun umbrella.
CASTAGNO (4/6 persons): its on the first floor, in. It has two double rooms, bathroom with shower, living room with a wide panoramic window, kitchenette and fireplace.
NOCE (2/4 persons): one double room, bathroom with shower, living room, kitchenette and fireplace. Outside there’s a garden with table, chairs and a gazebo
CILIEGIO (2/3 persons): situated on the firs floor, with one double room, bathroom, shower and a little living room with kitchenette.
GELSO (2 persons): was the old cheese cellar, and today is a gracious one room apartment with double bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom with shower. It is also suitable for disables.
