The Country house Assisi is placed in a peaceful, plain land area,
at six hundred meters above sea level, only 6 km away from Assisi. It's
a XIV century castle with attached a small church of the XVII century. Completely
renovated and elegantly furnished, it is surrounded by a natural environment
of great charm, typical of Umbrian hills. The Country house has 22 comfortable
rooms, each one different from the other. There are suite with double bathroom,
junior suite and standard double room. From all the rooms there is a wonderful
view of the countryside and opening the windows one can smell the fresh
dewy air, listen to the birds twittering and enjoy an extraordinary panorama
of the vast Umbrian valley, from the basilica of S. Francis to the fortress
Albornoz of Assisi and from the park of mount Subasio to Perugia. The country
house welcomes its guests in a great warm atmosphere, typical of a private
residence and ideal for an enjoyable and relaxing stay, in harmony with
nature.
The restaurant offers a wide range of local dishes, prepared with the special
touch on antique tradition of Umbria region. The facilities offered are:
swimming pool, mountain bikes, and horse riding at a short distance from
the country house.
The structure will be closed from 7 Gennuary to 14 March 2008
